The minimum age requirement for driving licence in India is as follows:

1. 16 years of age for MCWOG vehicle class (Private Vehicle)
2. 18 years of age for LMV (Light Motor Vehicle) & MCWG vehicle class (Private Vehicle)

  3. In the application fee window, calculate the fee and select the bank from the Bank/Gateway dropdown. Enter the captcha and click “Pay Now” to continue.
  4. Check all details on the next page and click “Proceed for Payment” to continue.
  5. Click “Continue” to log in to your bank account for payment continuation.
  6. After successful payment, the payment success acknowledgement window appears. Click “Print Receipt” to generate a payment receipt.
  7. Check all details on the payment receipt to ensure accuracy.

Follow these steps to upload your photo and signature for learning licence application:

  1. Click on the button that says “Upload Photo and Signature.”
  2. Click on the “Next” button to proceed to the next page.
  3. Read the instructions on the page about the required size for the photo and signature.
  4. Click on the “Upload and View Files” button.
  5. Select the photo and signature files you want to upload.
  6. Wait for the message that says “Inserted Successfully” to appear on the screen.
  7. Click on the “Next” button to go to the next page.

Apart from the general application process explained above here are the additional steps in case of the applicant age is above 40 years:

  1. Upload Form 1A (Medical fitness certificate from registered medical practitioner)
  2. Make fee payment online
  3. View the Tutorial / Road Safety video completely using the OTP received
  4. As Form 1A is uploaded, scrutiny will be done by the concerned RTO.
  5. After scrutiny, SMS will be sent. Take the LL test online using the Password received through SMS.
  6. If Pass in LL test, print the LL Certificate Online.
