Ultraviolette Automotive unveils high-speed racing platform F99 at Auto Expo 2023

Bengaluru-based electric vehicle startup Ultraviolette Automotive has unveiled its high-speed racing platform, the F99, at the Auto Expo 2023 in Greater Noida. The F99, an upgraded version of the company’s F77 electric motorcycle, offers advanced battery technology, innovative carbon composites, and efficient aerodynamics. With a peak power output of 65 bhp, the F99 offers a top speed of over 200 kmph.

“The F99 Racing Platform led us to think beyond conventional technologies in the EV space today,” said Narayan Subramaniam, CEO and Co-Founder of Ultraviolette. The F99 is built to provide maximum output from the powertrain and it will enable customizable ergonomics to help riders with their posture while riding. The company is confident that the innovation emerging from the F99 Factory Racing Platform will make its way to the public in the future. “By combining aviation and racing principles, we intend to bring the most advanced electric vehicles to the world,” added Subramaniam.

In addition to the F99, Ultraviolette also announced a limited production run of 77 units of the F77 to celebrate the brand. Each unit will feature a unique number and special paint scheme of meteor grey with afterburn yellow. The special edition F77 also makes more power at 40.2 bhp (30.2 kWh) and 100 Nm of peak torque, going from 0 to 100 kmph in just 7.8 seconds with a top speed of 152 kmph.
