Honda has recently disclosed the ARAI-approved fuel efficiency statistics for its latest SUV, the Elevate. Boasting a 1.5-liter NA petrol engine that generates 119bhp and 145Nm of peak torque, the SUV achieves impressive fuel efficiency ratings of 15.31kmpl for the manual variant and 16.92kmpl for the automatic variant.

The Honda Elevate is poised to compete with well-known models, including the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Astor, Skoda Kushaq, VW Taigun, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder. Its exterior design radiates “power and confidence,” featuring a sharp front profile accentuated by a prominent black radiator grille and a sturdy, flat face. The front end is further enhanced by crisp headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights (DRLs), while the rear boasts L-shaped LED tail lights, completing the SUV’s stylish appearance.

On June 6, 2023, Honda made a significant entry into the Indian market with the launch of its Elevate SUV. Set to hit the roads in early September, the automaker has now disclosed the ARAI-certified fuel efficiency figures for the SUV.

The Honda Elevate comes with a 1.5-liter petrol engine, which can be paired with either a six-speed manual or a CVT unit. This gasoline motor delivers a robust 119bhp and 145Nm of peak torque, achieving ARAI-certified fuel efficiency figures of 15.31kmpl for the manual variant and 16.92kmpl for the automatic variant. It’s worth noting that, unlike the Honda City, the Elevate SUV does not offer a hybrid powertrain setup.

The Honda Elevate SUV rides on dual-tone alloy wheels and has dimensions of 4,312mm in length, 1,790mm in width, and 1,650mm in height. It offers a generous ground clearance of 220 mm and features a spacious 458-litre boot capacity.

Inside the cabin, the Honda Elevate boasts a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment center with wireless smartphone integration technology. The SUV also comes equipped with a three-spoke steering wheel and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. The dashboard exhibits a cleaner and more streamlined design.

As mentioned earlier, the Honda Elevate is powered by a 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder petrol engine capable of producing 119bhp of maximum power at 6,600 rpm and a peak torque of 145Nm at 4,300 rpm. This engine is mated to either a six-speed manual or a CVT transmission, offering a smooth and responsive driving experience.

Regarding safety, the Elevate SUV excels with its advanced ADAS suite, which includes essential features such as Collision Mitigation Braking, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, road departure warning, and automatic high beam assist. These cutting-edge safety technologies work together to provide a secure and confident driving experience for the passengers.
