Ultraviolette Presents Exclusive F77 E-bike “Space Edition” to Honor Chandrayaan-3 Mission

Ultraviolette F77 Limited Edition

Ultraviolette, a prominent name in India’s electric motorcycle market, is gearing up to introduce something truly special – the limited “Space Edition” of their flagship F77 model. This remarkable launch not only pays tribute to the Chandrayaan-3 lunar mission but also showcases the impressive advancements in India’s aerospace technology.

Unlike the regular F77 models, this unique collection comprises only 10 units, each representing a significant leap forward in both materials and capabilities. Imagine aerospace-grade aluminum, akin to what fighter jets are made of, and aerospace-grade paints designed to withstand extreme temperatures, ensuring both durability and exceptional quality.

One outstanding feature of these special edition bikes is their incredible range of 307 km on a single charge. But that’s not all. The Ultraviolette F77 Space Edition is equipped with fail-safe battery systems and an innovative 9-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU) similar to the ones used in aircraft. This technology measures roll, pitch, and yaw, providing riders with a sense of control like never before.

The bike’s display resembles a radar system, offering real-time updates on its incline and other parameters, reminiscent of aircraft cockpit displays. Narayan Subramaniam, Ultraviolette Automotive’s co-founder and CEO, explained that this fusion of electronics, mechanics, and design embodies the company’s deep-rooted connection with aviation and aerospace.

“Incorporating aspects from electronics, mechanics, and design, this fusion celebrates our deep-rooted connection with aviation and aerospace,” Subramaniam affirmed.

All this innovation comes with a price tag of INR 5.6 Lakh (ex-showroom), setting it apart from the regular F77 models starting at INR 3.8 Lakh (ex-showroom). Additionally, the F77 Space Edition comes with Ultraviolette’s boost charger, a step above the regular charger. Those eagerly anticipating this remarkable edition can start marking their calendars for Tuesday, August 22, as that’s when bookings for the F77 Space Edition will kick off.

Speaking of lunar connections, the Chandrayaan-3 mission, aimed at showcasing India’s lunar landing and surface exploration capabilities, is expected to make a gentle touch down on the moon’s surface around 06:04 PM on Wednesday, August 23.

As the electric motorcycle market in India gathers momentum, exciting developments are on the horizon. Ola Electric’s announcement of four upcoming models – Cruiser, Roadster, Adventure, and DiamondHead – set to hit the market by the end of 2024, is just one example of the industry’s growth.
